The house I used in this model went through many different scenes. It was originally supposed to be used for a much larger action oriented scene. The scene took on a different perspective, ( as most of my designs tend to do ) and the house got cut.
It was meant to be in another scene I had going, but didn't match the more "realistic" approach I had going for that scene, so, once again it got cut and moved out.
Then it sat on the back burner for a while, and eventually I just assumed I wouldn't use it, so I deleted it.
A couple days ago I found it in my recycling bin when looking for something else, I couldn't help but feel a little upset by it. Not so much that I felt bad for the model itself, I felt bad because I had made it, and couldn't find a scene for it to be used in.
Then I thought, "why not just make it it's own scene?"
Felt obvious when I started to look at it that way.
So I did just that, and I like to think of it as the house's retirement, it was supposed to be used in a few more action oriented scenes, it got cut, reused, cut again, got deleted, got recovered, and now has it's own quiet scene to live in
Now of course, the screenshot breakdown
